AMOUNT DEPOSITED
A minimum non-refundable deposit of £30 or an agreed-upon sum with our staff is required for all reservations; occasionally, the entire cost of the service is required. This may partially pay the callout price, but it is not the same. This is to guarantee both the security of the reservation and the safety of our employees. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will be deducted from the total sum charged to you.
Any technical problems with payments should be resolved with your bank or payment provider; we are not responsible for them.
BOOKING CANCELLATION
The minimum callout fee is £60 or the deposit amount, whichever is higher. If you cancel a reservation after the driver has been sent, you might have to pay the entire price, and there is no guarantee that the deposit will be reimbursed.
SUBCONTRACTOR GUIDELINES
In order to ensure that we never have to refuse a request for help, we work hard to cover as many areas as we can. We may designate a reliable subcontractor to do the work when our in-house employees are completely booked or unavailable in a certain area. We thoroughly screen and register each subcontractor with our contacts. Before being registered, they have to pass the required inspections.
The majority of our subcontractors are well-known in their communities or in the industry. We have a rigorous strike system for complaints in order to uphold excellent service standards:
- A consumer or fellow trader will be removed from our register after three minor complaints or one significant complaint.
- If a significant, documented complaint is not addressed, it will result in both instant removal and permanent blacklisting.
This policy reflects our best efforts to ensure that our company is represented by only trustworthy, superior specialists.
If a subcontractor’s work causes a problem, they are entirely responsible for fixing it. The subcontractor is in charge of immediately addressing and resolving any complaints. Since subcontractors work independently and are not directly employed by us, we do not take responsibility for their failures.
Since we take complaints seriously and hold subcontractors to high standards, the most we can do is enforce our strike system. The subcontractors are in charge of their own liability and trade insurance. The subcontractor, not us, must handle any claims pertaining to their work.
Furthermore, taking on responsibility for subcontractor problems would compromise their professional accountability and go against our ethics as a company that works with local vendors and small to medium-sized businesses.
